A short towing trip

[Keeping Up]

We just completed a successful trip towing "Black Bottom Girl" from Foxton to Hillmorton in 2 days.

 

We had a great time, the sun shone for us, and the whole trip went as smoothly as we could have dared hope. The actual travelling time was just sixteen and a half hours, from leaving Foxton on Saturday morning to arriving at Hillmorton on Sunday night with an overnight stop at Crick.

Yes it was a brilliant trip!

 

There was no way it could have taken 5 days though as I only volunteered to cook one breakfast!

 

It was a fantastic opportunity for me to do some 'proper' boating and I would like to thank Allan and Zav for inviting me along
