Lock Restrictions Camden & Hanwell

Boaters: message from Sam at CRT. Due to low water levels in the long pound (camden to hanwell flight and up to cowley) Northwood top lock and hampsted road lock (camden top lock) will be closed nightly at 9pm and reopen in the morning until the pound is full. May take a week or so. Please can anyone using it do the right thing and close the lock gates. Also Cowley is staying open. Anyone using the lock MUST open the top gates as the water then flows over the bottom gates and tops up the system.

[Wanted]

The water is well low at the moment, i am about a foot off the bottom.

 

not sure what the rain has done as still on my way back from work, at least I don't have to water the plants!
