Rebuilding a B.M.C. Injector Pump.

I have a slight leak from my injector pump. At the moment it only seems to happen when the engine is first started but I don't think it should be happening at all and so I'm wondering if I should recondition it at some point in the future.

It seems that seal kits are readily available, for example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMC-DIESEL-ENGINE-1-5L-1-8L-CAV-INJECTION-PUMP-SEAL-KIT-GENUINE-DELPHI-/271386057118?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f2fde999e

Has anybody re-sealed an injector pump? If so, is there any advice they would care to offer about it?

Where is it leaking from? I have replaced the seals on mine when it leaked from the throttle/stop part at the top of the pump. This was a reasonably simple job replacing two O rings There was a thread on here with pictures explaning this particular procedure. I don't think you would have the neccessary equipment to replace all the seals in the pump and it would be better to let a diesel specialist sort that out for you. If I can find the pictures I'll post them up. Tony Brooks has posted in a couple of threads with warnings about replacing the throttle and stop O rings which are relevant so it might be prudent to search for those posts.
