Dredging on the Leeds Liverpool

By practical experiment, I have found that the L&L at Thorlby swing bridge in particular, is dredged to

 

*ahem*

 

just about the same depth as the distance from the bottom of my feet to my belly button.

You didn't mention whether or not you are a dwarf, could be relevant

By uncanny coincidence, I can confirm the Coventry Canal below Atherstone locks is precisely the same depth.

I said tall not to his belly button. which makes the Ashby about 2'0" deep except for the bit I've dredged with my base plate.........

My wife says that the pound on lock 21 on the wolverhampton flight is more then 5ft six deep .
