Mono solar panels will give a small charge even in low light & even if partially covered. I have one 100w & this keeps us going. Got mine from SUNSTORE check their web site, very helpful, also more realistic pricing than others. Hope that helps.

Just had a bloke come up to me saying my poly solar panels are rubbish and his mono panels 'get 3 amps from the moon'

I dont believe the moonstuff but what is better? Poly or mono?

. The moon does give a small charge when it's large, the reason we can see the moon is because the sun is reflecting off of it which is enough to get a tiny amount of current but don't really believe it's enough to make any difference, regarding mono or poly I don't have a clue in fact don't even know what mine is, but the charge light does come on when there's a full moon
