Paganboat
Just had a bloke come up to me saying my poly solar panels are rubbish and his mono panels 'get 3 amps from the moon' I dont believe the moonstuff but what is better? Poly or mono?
Guest
Mono solar panels will give a small charge even in low light & even if partially covered. I have one 100w & this keeps us going. Got mine from SUNSTORE check their web site, very helpful, also more realistic pricing than others. Hope that helps.

bottle
but not worth changing them, if you already have, Poly.

The moon does give a small charge when it's large, the reason we can see the moon is because the sun is reflecting off of it which is enough to get a tiny amount of current but don't really believe it's enough to make any difference, regarding mono or poly I don't have a clue in fact don't even know what mine is, but the charge light does come on when there's a full moon
