It is anticipated the lock will re-open to boat traffic on Thursday 2nd April at 4pm We understand this closure may disrupt your schedule. Let's see how long before CaRT remember to lift the notice now? IN 2010 thet 'forgot' the Crofton flight stoppage for 6 weeks. Can do my Christmas Easter shop at Devizes now. Notice Update: 19th June 15 Navigation: Open, Towpath: OpenKennet & Avon Canal Starts At: Culvert 44 Horton Ends At: Culvert 44 Horton Update on 19/06/2015:This boat has now been removed and the navigations is now open Update on 19/12/2014: Craft remains in-situ in the navigation; boat owner and CRT are in talks to have the boat removed as soon as possible, Original message: A craft has sunk in the navigation adjacent to Bridge 131 Horton Fields Swingbridge. Narrow beam boats can pass with caution, wide beam boats will be unable to pass.
