Hi,

Wessex Rose must have made it past as it's now moored opposite us at the top of the flight.

Dave

Was told last night only came from near Devizes Marina where moored over winter so may not have come by.

Down Stream Winding Hole: Winding Hole, West Mills

Friday 13 March 2015 16:00 until Thursday 2 April 2015 16:00

Update on 26/03/2015:

Following Engineer assessment the lock structure is unable to sustain a steel cofferdam, we therefore need to install a fabric dam upstream of the lock to facilitate the repair works

The dam will be installed on Friday 27th March, works to repair the gates and cill can then be undertaken. It is anticipated the lock will re-open to boat traffic on Thursday 2nd April at 4pm

We understand this closure may disrupt your schedule. We are taking every step to fix the problem as soon as possible and we will keep you updated of our progress.

It's Gone!

Wessex R came through a couple of days ago [there 1st time] & RCR were pumping 'n tugging [fnarr fnarr].

Let's see how long before CaRT remember to lift the notice now?

IN 2010 thet 'forgot' the Crofton flight stoppage for 6 weeks.

Can do my Christmas Easter shop at Devizes now.cheers.gif
