GU tanks photos and sizes

One odditiy that I discovered recently, when repairing/rebottoming the tanks for Small Woolwich, is that the inspection covers are held with 9/16" Whitworth setscrews. That's not a common size, probably never has been, and a couple of the screws had badly chewed threads. I failed to find new ones anywhere, ended up having to make them.

Wish I'd known, I scrapped a large two gallon steel bucket of them about a month ago. I was clearing out an old engineering workshop about two months ago. I had those (boxed), and about six hundredweight of whit worth bolts, studs, set screws I sent to the scrappy. The inheriting owner wanted the workshop cleared of all agricultural tools and artefacts,
