Sunsoup
Yo, canal dwellers, My nephew has invited himself to stay on my NB for 4 nights next week. And he wants to bring his Play Station. But I'm not sure if my battery bank will hold up, I have 4 120AH leisure batteries and a 22inch 240 volts TV which is seldom on cos I prefer to read. Will I have to run my generator? Will his Game Console knacker my batteries? I'm sure there are boaters out there with these Play Stations. Advice please. Cheers in advance. MtB
I'd say it will be fine provided you are getting six hours or so of cruising done each day. MtB
bottle
Will I have to run my generator? Yes. You will need to monitor your batteries, you do have monitoring equipment, He will probably have to be limited in his usage. Will his Game Console knacker my batteries? No. but excessive use without battery recharging will damage the batteries but if you monitor them and keep them charged you will be OK. So to summarise, limit the box use and keep an eye on the batteries.
