We have found a framed poster from the P.R. Division of Perkins Engines Peterborough, but can find no reference to it anywhere on the internet. It's a compendium of many things maritime hardly a subject for CWDF, but knowing there are some with wider knowledge I'm casting this on here for comment or origins. Nothing found on Perkins website, not elsewhere so far, though it seems strangely familiar to me, seen in museum perhaps - or school? Really don't know. Quite nice on the wall.

The motto is Latin, and translates: "We have to sail, we do not have to live" spoken in 56BC by Pompey when setting his fleet to sail in a storm.
