peterboat
Hi all, We traveled up New Junction last Saturday in the pouring rain it was a real surprise to find a roving CRT van opening lift bridges for boats. We ended up as a group of 5 boats and all bridges plus Sykehouse lock being operated for us it made life sooo much easier with the poor weather of that day I can only say many thanks the the Crt guy for doing his stuff so cheerfully. It was a shock however to see the old lock keepers cottage burned out at Sykehouse although it had been recently sold . Peter
