Before we bought Theodora my sister and brother in law generously lent us Blake for fairly extended holidays. The JD3 sounds lovely and the brass trimmings attract much comment from the gongoozlers. Most people believe that the sound is from a vintage engine. The engine itself performs beautifully: lots of bottom end torque, which, coupled with a fairly coarse pitch screw, gives really good stopping power. This is unlike Theodora, whose stopping power leaves much to be desired!
