Another carbon monoxide poisoning?

At least on the BBC news website, the date the story was last updated is clearly shown at the top, unlike the Daily Fail website, where it is very easy to see a story, assume it's from today as that's the date at the top of the page, with the only way to find out the actual date being to use a search engine for matching stories on other sites. Recently, someone on another forum got wound up about a coach crash that they'd just found out about from the Fail website that turned out to have happened ten years previously.

 

Complaints about this have been made to the editor with no response so far.

If resurrecting the topic encourages a few people to buy carbon monoxide detectors or test ones in their boat, that might safe a life.

Stories do carry both a 'published date' and an 'update date' on the Mail web site.
