We bought these ones for £20 from Argos, great range. Dave was at the butcher's in Braunston and me in the marina on the boat and they worked just fine.

First used 2 ways in 1984 when we had a half acre garden. Chris used to ring a big brass bell to getmy attention. RING RING I would run down the garden," Pant Pant yeah what's up" Chris "do you want a brew?" Me "yes please" Chris "Ill ring when its ready"

This could go on for hours so 2 way radios saved our marriage.

We have used them ever since, Chris would call me when she finished work so I could pick her up in my dinghy and today we can chat if she is in the boat while I'm at the 'elum
