Keeping Up in 2013 - 1500 miles and 900 locks

[Keeping Up]

Last year we travelled 1500 miles on the English canals, and I took a lot of pictures with my new camera, so it has taken me a while to put the pages together on our website. Finally, however, I've managed it.

On our first trip of the year, we were frozen into the ice on the way to Market Harborough. On our second trip we travelled around the East Midlands and up to Stoke on Trent to the Caldon Canal before going down the Trent to Lincoln. After our Swedish trip from Stockholm to Gothenburg, we spent an idyllic month in the sunshine on the Thames and then crossed the country via Warwick and Stratford to Gloucester. Hi passed your boat the other day one of the nicest ones we have seen so far on our trip from Tring to Gloucester. Some of the boats we passed over the last six days were on Their last legs, sad to see.
