Dont suppose anyone will be heading our way, but just to let people know the 'Red Flag' was put up today.

 

Its really quite horrid with icy cold rain and very blowy windy bits on and off.

Hi,

Just wondering what the river is like now. I'm hoping to come through the middle levels onto the Nene at Peterborough before the weekend as they are closing Stanground lock from 20 Jan to mid Feb.

Are some locks still reversed?

 

The strong stream notice dated 23 December (which said some locks were closed to navigation) is what you get if you ring the floodline..

 

(edited to add: please ignore. Sorry I misread your post, thought you were going downstream whereas you are going the other way ...)
