Can I get rid of the "Other threads tagged with..." box?

Down at the bottom of the page of a thread that has tags (not this one, I don't use them) there is a new box that tells you what other (usually irrelevant) threads share the same tags.

 

I envisage a tag such as "liveaboard" having several pages of matching threads eventually.

I don't think you can - I have had a look at 'general account settings' in my profile and there is nothing there.

 

Plus on the actual box it self there is no option to minimise or close it, so I would say no.

Oh well...I gues I will learn to ignore it...just like those daft pop-ups that give me information about people I have no interest in.

In mobile view non of this applies. I actually like mobile view so much, I leave on when on the tablet. It shows only the relevant text part.
