Dalesman
Is it possible to wind a 40ft boat after the Wrenbury winding hole and before you get to Grindley Brook locks..?
Paul C
Yes - there's a winding hole about 20 mins up from Wrenbury electric lift bridge.

little duck!
Don't think so.....you can turn a 40ft boat in the pound between the 3 single locks and the staircase (so you'd not need to do the staircase twice).
