Splendid. We too have hired several times through Blue Water who are efficient and helpful.

 

You need Editions de Breil map book no.2. Locaboat may well supply one with the boat. Check with them. Otherwise you can buy directly from the publishers, whop are in Castelnaudary.

 

I was going to add "You'll love the Nivernais", but of course you won't know until you get there. Suffice to say that our 1994 hiring on there started our enthusiasm for boating, and we are still boat owners 25  years later.

Has anyone tried Canal Planner for over there? https://canalplan.uk/   It looks quite good but not tried it on the water
