leaking jabsco pump

Oh. Mine leaked from the ports. I put new ones in with a bit of Vaseline. Only thing I can say is try a new service kit. Good luck.

I've read somewhere that you can over tighten the pump casing - try silicone (small amount don't blather it on)and just nip the cover on. (I am a engineer by trade and we use Jabsco pumps at work albeit a lot bigger than the ones found on boats)

Knowing Jabsco I would think the service kits are quite expensive, leased ways they are for our pumps!

Exactly the same with mine (Jabsco but different model) just made sure all joints were clean, smeared joints with grease, the same as used for the stern tube, no leaks so far.

Smear of Fernox LS-X leak sealer round the edge of the diaphragm should sort it.
