I've been to Thorne to look at boats, can anyone suggest other places to look at a few canal boats in Yorkshire?

Boat brokers up north are like hens teeth.

 

A better option is to look far and wide and when you find the boat you like move it North......it's what we did.

Dunno what you seek there are a couple of boats for sale at Selby Boat Centre. But Naburn Marina usually have stock for sale but they don't advertise, other than that we don't sell boats up here, we recycles them lol

try viking marina in Goole then unless you want to go to the north west its down to nottingham and beyond

Go to the Midlands sellers, many more boats to look at

We bought our boat at C V Marine at Sheffield and had her brought upto skipton .

Good brokerage to deal with .

There are often some boats for sale at Stanley Ferry.
