GSer
Cheers GSer that's the one While you're here, what is the idea and correct usage of the two levers on the injector pump, are they for testing injectors? Or for isolating a cylinder ie running the engine on one pot only? Paul
Athy
The two in the centre of the photo? They are priming levers (so I'm told).
martyn 1
Those two levers are priming levers which are used to refill the injector lines when they have been removed etc. unlike other engines with a Gardner you don't need to undo injector pipes to bleed them. The little catches on them do also allow you to effectively turn off a cylinder but this is not advisable unless there is something wrong with that cylinder and it a get you home measure.
