Could somebody please explain whats involved in turning a fixed speed Lister into a variable speed based on a ST or SR cheers, Ian.

I think it is the fuel pump calibration but I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along to confirm either way.

Apart from the variable speed bits needed to bias the governor to get a variable speed you usually need to change the speeder spring ( depends on what the fixed speed originaly was. Talk to Marine Engine Services. Chris, formerly Baldock, posts on here.
