I used to have a bag of crisps (cheese and onion by preference) with both a pickled egg AND a dash of Worcestershire sauce in....but then we were sophisticated.......

Then there was the Cockle Man on Saturday evenings - usually just after the Sally Army had been in selling the War Cry

Blimey, which pub did you go in? We went in the Old Bush and the Green Man last month and both were utterly grim.

The Anchor at Caunsall is very good though. Follow the footpath from bridge 24. They do outstanding cobs and very cheap too.

Last year the Green Man was great and the chippy as well. Things must have changed. We loved the moorings as well at Swindon.

The Kershaws man? What was the name of the salli army mag? the customers in my old mans pub used it to keep the brine off the tables. Some posh people bought prawns.
