BATES BOTEL

Some people I know are going to start up a hotel boat. They bought a 60 footer and have been fitting it all out. Only the painting has been held up a bit by the rain. They figured "BATES BOTEL" was a catchy name. So, I wondered what tyhe rest of you think? I suggested "Botel California" but they're sticking with the original name.

I suggested an electric lit "Vacancies" sign to go on the roof. Nobody yet knows whether BATES BOTEL is going to be a hit.

Well, BATES BOTEL may be hit badly by a canal diversion. The plan was to moor up on the main canal but after a diversion it winded up moored on an off-branch. So, if you're cruising your boat in the night during heavy rain you may well chance upon a glowing sign that reads "BATES BOTEL".

One of my jokes. Not long agi I got the complete Psycho box set plus features. I knew what would happen. Watched the original and then got scared going to sleep as on my boat I'm alone.

The original Cape Fear is also good. You can even see Telly Sevallas in it.
