Advice required re: Mains to 12vV 18W adapter

Just acquire, via a gift, a small Nikkai television for the boat.

Currently running it off our 12v supply, which is fine except we have to trail the lead across the front doors. Would like to able to run it off the 240v supply. The mains adapter has disappeared and it needs a 12v 18W supply. Have searched the web but not sure that what comes up is what we need. Tried another 12v adapter with the right polarity last night and it didn't work, so clearly the 18W is important. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Try a mult-voltage laptop psu from any good computer shop and use the plug that fits your TV and set

the voltage to suit. Mapin, You may find one cheaper on ebay. Or just fit a longer cable to the TV.
