Deleting messages

There used to be but it seems to have gone on the last software update. At least I can't find one. That's why everyone's inbox is always full because it's too much like hard work to delete them all.

If you go to your messenger inbox and click the little box at the very top right just above the top message it puts a tick in the box to the right of all the messages that are currently visible.

Scroll down and below the last message being displayed again at the right you can see a drop down menu with one of the options being 'delete' - click on GO to the right of the drop down menu and they're gone!! B)

Aha that's where it went. My inbox is now empty. Including all the ones I wanted to keep.

ah ha result..then well sort of..

For future reference you can email 'conversations' to your own email in box to preserve/keep them there and delete the originals from the forum.

Thanks! How on earth did you discover that? It isn't labelled at all.

TBH - I've seen the same on one or two forums but it would be better if it was labelled 'select all' which I've also seen.
