That's exactly where I would like to be moored when I eventually get my boat in a few years time. Would you be kind enough to let me know what the process was in obtaining a liveaboard mooring in Ely? Many thanks

I was wondering whether you could also share with me your experiences of finding a liveaboard mooring in Ely. I have just pu a deposit down on a 50ft narrowboat.

Did you see the piece on Look East last night about the council wanting more river space for people to live aboard on narrowboats?!

Yes, I saw the news item. Mrs. Athy criticised the terminoly "houseboats", but in fairness that's an expression which the non-boating public at large would understand.
