Some good photos of nb Aldgate being unloaded at Barby Marina. It appears that a lot of construction materials will be delivered in this way for the construction of this marina.

Came up from Winkwell to Berko yesterday with the leased Winkwell Services work boat.

It is delivering all the heavy loads to the new houses being built in "Port Berkhamstead" on the site of the old hire boat centre. There is no HGV access to the site so 3 trips a day of construction materials are being delivered via canal.

It's great to see a real working boat on the canal doing everything it was designed for-canal and boat. Where's the horse?

off being watered and fed of course, you don't keep it tethered when the boat is being unloaded, that's cruel!!!
