Lidan hot bulb engine

i recently bought a lidan hot bulb engine on ebay, i am looking for more information about them, i have measured the bore at 8.5" i am not able to measure the stroke at the moment as it is seized, thanks Tom

Loving that engine, i bet it weighs a ton. good luck with the morgage re building it !

 

You need to get stationary engine magazine( or online forum) to find someone who knows what it is.

no one i have spoken to has heard of it, the company is still in business but building winches now, i have emailed them but didn't get a response, they started production in 1909. it is still seized but penetrating oil is finding its way past the piston, hopefully it will move in about 6 months time!
