If I ever do try it I will bear this in mind. (Unlikely I'll bother - probably just wait until the boat's next out of water). Actually, I wonder how long a thin coat like that would take to dry..? Paul Evans Posted September 9, 2010 Report Share Posted September 9, 2010 Global warming doesn't mean that winters will globally be warmer everywhere, just that average global temperatures will be higher. It's entirely possible that it will cause British winters to be harsher. That's why it's now usually referred to as "climate change", as the effects are much more complicated than the term "global warming" implies. Also, it's not "on its way" - it is here, but it wasn't politically convenient to acknowledge this until peak oil became a serious problem. /pedant This old dog has learned another trick!
