tsrd
I'm currently at the stage of installing my ply lining in conjunction with AC supply. Advice would be appreciated as to fitting (securely) the socket back boxes. I'm considering using dry lining boxes. These are only available in plastic, presumably plastic is okay? DHutch
Not sure whats used on our boat, but ive used the plastic dry-lining boxes a few times (once on dry lining infact!) and they seem perfectly sturdy enough.
Richard Bustens
The only problem i have had with them is that they are only made to use with thinish meterials and all my sides are 1'' thick oak so i have to rebate out the back side, and as usual i never know exactly where i want them till i have the panel in place, then cut hole then rebate the back of the panel, and that has been a bugger, had to buy a special rebater with a extra long shaft and bearing on the top side.
