Best place to moor in Rugeley?

Hi, are the visitor moorings in Rugeley the best place to moor overnight? Any experiences?

Many thanks.

We haven't had problems. There are quite a lot of moorings in Rugeley, last time we were there (earlier this year) a party was going on in a house that is very adjacent to the canal. This was more troublesome to their neighbours. Possibly quieter moorings are nearer the railway station. The pub near the station did good food.

North of bridge 67 is quiet and safe. We moor opposite the house with the indoor swimming pool - a bit upmarket.

You will need a plank between 66 and 67. It is deeper between 65 and 66 but often full.
