hi new to this forum hope i'm in the right place.does anyone know anything about water traps on a lister sr2 and manuals for 2's and 3's thanks

Baldocks yer man but i think you`ll find that it all depends on who fitted the engine it may not have a water filter/trap at all,chances are if you have 2 filter looking things on your fuel line 1 will be a water trap if it only has one it will just be a fuel filter,which may have a drain screw on the bottom for draining off water/sediment

When our Canal Society's boat was being restored, I removed the Lister water trap (not BSS compliant, along with the rest of the fuel sysem) and fitted one of them
