Solar Panel Recomendations Please.

Hello

On my new mooring we aren't permitted to leave the boat plugged in while not on it.

So to keep the batteries topped up and in good condition I am thinking solar.

I would welcome suggestions and recommendations on which kit to consider installing.

My observations are that Kyocera panels seem to be the most popular. BP, although more expensive, also seem to be fairly popular.

I have had good experiences with these people: http://www.wirefreedirect.com/solar_panels_and_modules.asp? I have no connection with them......

Depends on what size your batteries are, what you want to run, how often you want to run it, what other charging equipment you have and will they be outside or in the window.

Maplins suitcase 13w works well in a window, still they will put out less and less power until January, there are less hours of light per day now and losing it, and the light is getting dimmer.

Most people are thinking wind at this time of year.
