Actually you'd be better off Googling GRP repair or upkeep as that way you stand a chance of getting advice on what is best. (What the OP asked)

This is a lot better than reading manufacturers specs and claims.

 

By the way I used International. Primer wass dearer than the paint but worked well. Would be dubious of standard primers for use on home timber etc.
