Next week we are heading for Islington and we are currently moored at Weedon Bec. We were wondering which is the best way to go?

 

Do we go Grand Union and return on the Oxford or do we go the Oxford and return on the Grand Union.

 

 

We would be grateful for any suggestions

Since you're already at Weedon wouldn't it make sense to continue South on the GU?

Since you're already at Weedon wouldn't it make sense to continue South on the GU?

 

I have Canal Planner and it suggests the Oxford Grand Union route, other boaters suggested the other way round and as we have until end of September to complete the trip turning around and going back would not be a problem.
