This was a good one.

 

Brand new Sealine F42/45 being delivered to her new owners was sunk by two members of Sealine staff.

 

How much trouble would they have been in?

Years ago, himself managed to kick all 4 glasses supplied on a hire boat into the cut within 24 hours, having left all four in the same place each time - the gap where you get on and off. Strangely, he's never made that mistake with a can. Other lost but never found incidences include

 

the fore window pane from the cratch frame (twice)

TV aerial

son's toy fishing rod - another himself magic trick involving whipping a centre line to free it from under the fishing rod.
