Description

The body of a deceased individual was found in the canal by the Red Lion Pub (near Vicarage Rd) 01/10/24, as a result we have put in place a navigation closure in this area to ensure that investigations by the police are carried out unimpeded. An update will be provided as soon as we have more information

I never found the food and drink at the Red Lion to be so poisonous. A nice pub really.

If is a cracking pub.  However it does periodically have one or two clients who are perhaps excessively over indulgent of its liquid wares.

 

There are also commonly many boats moored along that pound, not all of which are inhabited by the members of the Temperance Institute.
