Hey,

  I reckon my Hurth transmission needs some work.

fine in reverse, but no forwards.

eliminated cable issues etc, it’s just not clicking to engage.

I’m thinking of a rebuild, but would appreciate any advice or of your previous experiences.

I think get a quote for fitting a PRM mechanical box and for an overhaul for your box. PRM mechanicals seem mush more reliable the Hurths. Then decide which is the better prospect.

You will be appalled at the cost of a clutch pack for this box. Cut your losses and fit a PRM 90.

There is another post on here which quotes the sizes and how simple it is to replace the gearbox.
