Simple twist valves. I’ve never noticed an issue with the pipes expanding, but they’re under the floor so maybe they do…they don’t seem to mind though

I thought I would need to change the TRVs for regular valves but others here told me I could just unscrew the TRVs and take them off. Then they stay fully open.
