There is a mind set at present to pare back specs to make more money and hope that no one notices.

Which is the reason I fitted my boat out, not that I wanted to, far from it, but so many friends had bought new boats and the fitout was not what they asked for but what the fitter wanted to do. All the cockups on our boat are down to me. I know it wont be worth as much as a Hudson or a Reeves when I sell it, but it didn't cost me so much, just time.
