You have my sympathy for the loss of your survey fee and the bother of finding a boat and the hassle that goes with boat purchase.

For a budget of £50K,I would expect a youngish boat with a sound hull,a sound engine and well fitted out that was ready for immediate use.

Perhaps I am being a little optomistic,but I personally would not part with that amount of money for anything less.
