Mounting to walls?

Just in the process of getting a boat for the first time! 

 

Need to hand some bits on the walls like curtain rails and such. Is it any different than mounting into a normal wall? Would be going into the ply with spray foam insulation behind

Screws of length to not quite go through the ply. Screwfix turbogold are good.

Depends on the thickness of the ply. Some of mine was only about 3/16" thick and that caused problems for anything but the lightest fixture. Normal wall fixing and plaster board fixing things far too long so I either took the panel off and glued thicker ply to the back or used gravity toggles. Hopefully your ply will be at least 1/2" thick
