Looking at the photo, the calorifier piping has clearly been modified clumsily and rather unprofessionally. See the tight bends, stressed pipework and fittings, and additional nuts, spacers and O rings left on the short lengths of connecting pipe? 

 

This leads me to think the calorifier was replaced by an amateur so there is every chance of an error in that spaghetti of pipework in the photo. I think the OP is best off tracing each end of every pipe and drawing out a circuit diagram with a real pencil on real paper (will probably take multiple attempts), at which point he will probably be able answer his own question.
