Fantastic gem of a boat, thanks for the info I'm amazed at the info you are all giving me. When we rented Beaver from Gayton Marina they had a sister boat called Bobcat !! We had a great holiday on Beaver so the year after we wanted to book her again. On trying to book they had sold Bobcat and Beaver was up for sale. We were gutted by this news as we thought Beaver was a great boat. After about a months deliberating do we buy, don't we buy I phoned them up to buy it but they had sold it two hours before my phone call.

I would like to contact the current owner of Beaver a 32ft Narrowboat No. 47299. We spent a fantastic holiday on her about 13-14 years ago. We would like to know where and what she is like now.

I moored next to Bojo for about 2 years and to the best of my knowledge the owners were very happy with it.

I agree with Nick's cruising times. I take 3 days from Reading to Oxford but going very slowly and enjoying the pubs.

They have added to the advert, also on their advert if you place your mouse on the photo it says "NEW, 28ft narrowboat" This should read "NEW, 38ft narrowboat" Sorry, I would not deal with this company and I agree with the person who was worried about mobile phone numbers being given.
