  1. i was under the same impression about the troubles and thats purely been from this forum and a few canal related magazines. i dont have a boat but do have concerns cos im looking to become a boater in the near future. even if incidents are rare, i imagine it must be really frustrating to be stoned and not being able to do anything but escape slowly and not retaliate. is it best not to have a go back? can you keep a little pile of ammo for such times? oh nuts wrong topic
  2. i should imagine an m16 is a tad harsh but i believe its ok to pick them off with a boomerang or set the dingos on them. if you fight back youve got to make it count cos you cant get away
  3. see not everybody is moody first thing

  12. i was thinking you need the flames for the fry up or the kettle and theyd be no way Neil could do his toast (Top Tip) on the chilly penguin.
  13. ah but what is it? i think its granite (i quite like it)
  14. thats that sorted, its elm..... or oak
  15. you'd expect a temperature gauge for that price. i wonder if, on the chilli penguin, the flames would reach the top surface, would they go up the sides of the oven?
  16. i like the glass door. what about this. http://www.decorativeheating.co.uk/acatalo...al_Heating.html look at the price (the bottom one)
  17. thanks for all the info everybody, it seems feasible but something to be mastered, the Epping stove looks nice but i do like the little water boiler on the Oliva, its a must now i've seen it. i wouldnt be surprised if i get one before i get a boat. unless theyre astranomically priced. do some stoves have a railing to stop things falling off (im sure ive seen them) and are they a help or get in the way?
  18. say T.C. thats most infactual (i got that from utube Top Cat theme tune) turns out infactual isnt a word. does coal burn hotter than wood or just longer lasting? i was hoping to get away with using just wood.
  19. thats a beauty, no price must be expensive. i like the boiler and tap.and all cast is good. the oven is the big door im guessing?
  20. im referring to the small stoves in a boatmans cabin. i heard that you can't fry foods (not hot enough) on them, is this correct? is it possible to bake a loaf of bread or a pie in the oveny bit? is it a bit hit and miss as to whether things come out burnt or not? also do these stoves ever come with a back boiler?
  21. hi, warrior woman . yours seems lower slung with a flatter base, am i wrong? also how do these engines compare to a lister jp3
