I did mention this to Heather last w/end at L/Venice also told her the story of how my Dad came to be born inside Black Jacks Lock & the History & tales of Black Jack himself .Just passed the milestone is where my dad ,granddad 3x uncles & other family boatmen have their ashes scattered in the cut . My godparents Albert & sissy (Harrison) Sibley trained Eli Gayford & I visited Eli on her Barge near to Chelsea Reach a few times with Aunt Sissy or Cissy as it is often printed

Great time had by all last w/end.Thank you for the help with my Sibley's i am however looking back furter than 1973, Tom was a nephew to Albert. Albert died in 1971 family tales are of Sickle being rocked so far in the ice that her rail(That they held on to) was touching the Ice.

Hello v little is known of the Franks.I do however have the parish record for Benjamin son of Benjamin & Emily Eliza born nov 15 1904 & Baptised @ Brentford on dec 18 abode was given as canal boat "Benjamin" if you let me know some of the other surnames in your tree i will see if i can make connections for you with other canal familys
