Had the same problem with one of our mushroom vents, when the rain was heavy there were drops of water on the floor. took the complete mushroom of and found a break in the silicon sealing. sraped all the old sealant off and reapplied a new silicone seal. seems to have cured the problem

Have just got a permit for the liverpool link booked in on 3 sept. Has anyone done the trip and has any advice on mooring safely en route? For anyone considering the journey the restrictions have now been lifted.

Always bear in mind we have all been there and had to do it for the first time , even the speeding boater althugh he obviously hasnt learned anything. If you are still nervous why not hire aday boat locally first and try it out that way?

have just done a daft thing. bought a pair of large air horns of e bay. checked with seller who told me they were 12 volt. they arrived but had no compressor with them , (which the seller informedme). i bought a cheap set of air horns just to get the compresor. when i connected them up,they made very little sound but blew the boats fuse/ on inspecting them i noticed they had 24 marked on them, so i presume they are 24 volt. can anyone suggest how i may be able to get them to work. also is the small compressor big enough to run a large pair ?
