Just before christmas we had about 120 lts of diesel nicked and our hose reel,this was in linslade,little shits

Hi i was talking to a friend last night about mooring in the country side and she told me that 3yrs ago they were given a summer mooring just like a winter mooring,has anyone else heard of this i know i havent.

Thats cheap and they work well,i would get a sat finder there about a £10er a must have,ps i think the box is 12volt.Regards Darren

I have 5 40watt panels on our boat they are great in the summer,didnt run the engine for a week and we have a 12v fridge,but not so good in the winter.

We have a big back deck,and we keep 4 hens in there house no problems at all and lovley free eggs every day.

Hi has anyone seen Ledgie,he does sign writing on boats around berkhampsted,i ask because yesturday he sent me 3 very very strange texts about the end of the world and about god and that he couldnt find his memory,just a bit worried about him.cheers

Dont get me wrong i have been on board for 8 winters its just this is our first perminant mooring, i have had to use barrels many times before.

Yes we are on a mooring and we have two small children,every thing is frozen up

Hi to all,as you know its very cold and along with every one else our boat is froze in ,the ice is about an inch thick,as we and most others cant move our boat to get water and the water point is froze as well, do BW have a duty of care to provid us with water (ie) bring a bowzer down etc.What do you think if you lived in a house and the water went the water company would do it straight away.Regards Darren......

yes i have they have given me a phone number in case anything else happens,BW have been informed but they wont do anything . it could be the road acess by tescos and further down

Last night as normal i started up the boat,the misses said could i go to tescos for some thing,half why round i got a text saying the engine sounds funny so i have turned it off.when i got back i tryed to start it no chance so i checked the oil it was a bit low so i topped it up,try again nothing after an hour and flatterning the battery i check the fuel line from the tank guess what the 100 ltrs i put in at the weekend wasnt there some F--ing git had nicked the lot,i know times are hard at the moment but its hard times for all of us.time to get a lock for the filler cap.........

the stupidest thing i have done ,was one night i got to a lock to go down i dont know why but the lock was full so i emptyed it,what a pratt i had to fill it up then start again i got a wright ribbing down the pub

Last night in Linslade one boater had her doors kicked in,another heard the chain on his generator being cut gave chase but they got away allthough he got the gene back and for some reason they nicked our hose reel only to dump it just round the corner,so watch out if your in the area.this seems to happen yearly with generators, nick it and wait for the new one next year............

Just stopped at Linslade today thought i would empty the tiolet and get some water,Oh my god has anyone seen the state of the elsan point it has to be the worst i hav ever seen not even the flyes would go in there.
