  1. Yet again another baiting comment from Carl that is irrelevant.
  2. I dont have a contract its pay as you go. So i pay for 1gig I get 1 gig. If however i dont use the one gig tough. So in effect I paid for it but have only been given a month to use it so if I have some bandwidth left I loose it and they keep my money. That is unfair and for your information many others think it is which is why Ofcom are looking into it. Its a popular subject on other pc forums so it would seem im not the only moaning person out there! Its astonishing you even think that because a company has these terms it ok to treat people like this if they have been forwarned! You pay you get what you pay for simple no ifs no buts. your analogy with the restaurant is off too. I have the option to take my meal home and eat it yes. I cant return and carry on as that is unreasonable as this would mean storing my food and reheating it so the restaurant will loose out if they did things like this. Bandwidth use is a come and go service . You are not using something that is going to inconvenience anyone else especially if you have paid for you bandwidth. The bandwidth is there and if you use your allowance before the month is out they happily have more to sell you.So its ok when it suit them.
  3. If on the other hand the terms & conditions are not only unfair but fall foul of the law, then they can be legally challenged. I would say its safe to say not giving a customer what they paid for is unfair and to say so is not moaning.
  4. How do you find that? Does it make a great deal of difference?
  5. Oh now im a child. So I portray myself as thick, stupid, silly, and you think its ok to revel in that and judge someone? So if I was disabled you would make a point of it because thats how I portray myself ? I dont keep company with anyone who you have suggested, off you go throwing insulting judgements around again. Think back to the last thread you started by being condescending. Take a good look at yourself and take responsibility for your words don't make excuses that pathetic. Its clear as day someone has degraded you for a long time . Oh dear bless him.
  6. My research was on the quality of service which 3 claimed to be the best. As someone else has pointed out that is not always the case. Lets nail it down then. Is not rolling over credit someone has paid for fair yes or no?
  7. No threats have been made Carl. I have not said I am going to come and attack you. that would be a threat. I have said ''if you spoke to my face like that insulting me I would give you a slap'' That is not a threat that is an intention only based apon your verbal assault towards me if which I very much doubt like many degrading bullies like you plucked up the courage to do so in the physical world.
  8. Oh here he goes trying to wriggle out. You insults progressed over your replies Carl. Its interesting as you have had a similar effect on another forum member who has sent me a message in regards to your condescending comments around here. As a result they refrain in getting involved in threads that you are part of. Thats you who has done that to someone. You want a take a look at yourself. You can make your point without calling someones actions moaning, whinging, silly, thick, stupid ect I can only assume someone has degraded for years to the extent you are insensitive to such behaviour.
  9. I accept your point Alan as you made in a way that is not insulting or personal. Yes I should of read the small print although I would usually it was a rush buy at the time. I do think aside from the small print the practice of not rolling of time is unfair in principle because that time has been paid for like any other goods. So now im stupid!! Im plain thick! And you call me abusive lol. You are the one who was condescending and antagonising. I dont need to threaten you Carl I have made it clear if you spoke to my face like that you would get a slap end of. Bye.
  10. You are being antagonising. You are telling me that I am moaning and now I am whinging and IM silly. My point is Carl if you said that that amount of condescending insults to someone in a face to face conversation in a space of five minutes you would most likely get yourself a slap. I think I'm making myself very clear.
  11. Your off again being antagonising arn't you Carl. Go on please tell me where to have a face to face conversation with you. If the terms and conditions are not fair and you didn't realise credit don't get carried over then you can challenge the terms and conditions. As lets face it they are not fair. Its not moaning Carl. I did in fact do a lot of research on mobile broadband Carl.
  12. Thats actually a good deal especially if you are thinking of getting a new laptop. Considering I pay at least £10 a month with 3 and payed £50 for the dongle. Do you get to keep the laptop at the end of the two years and do you get any upgrade options after a period of time?
  13. People who buy Marmite like my self do so because they like it. However if I bought it and it did have something wrong with it I would be have Morrisons or Tesco ect giving me an apology and options as to what I would like. Eg my money back an alternative or an exchange. I have paid up front with 3g including buying a dongle that cost £50 based on the advertised goods and service on offer, who will not refund anyone on pay as you go once credit time has been allocated. Its not simply a case of if you don't like it don't use it as I have paid for it and invested money in their harware so they have effectively removed my freedom of choice. Thankfully offcom are actually coming down on such practices because not everyone has your view Carl. I can see no sence in your thinking that if I have unused credit I should'nt receive the service I have paid for until that credit has been used. Thats a bit like me fitting a boiler that don't work on Fridays and telling you if you don't like it go and buy another one for Fridays.
  14. Oh dear here we go. So if I declare a 60/40 spilt at purchase because I'm miles away from any other supplier and may find myself at such a marina's mercy who insists on a 60/40 which could well be the case, and then inform the law that i had no choice as I was forced to buy fuel at that rate but in fact use a 90/10 rate am I liable for false declaration? Surely thats not right or fair? Can BW not step in?
  15. Im not wanting to split hairs with you matey but violent crime is miles higher than deaths from road accidents. But sadly it don't get the media coverage as the Police cant sort it out as well as motoring offences so dont want to shout about it so much. The whole knife crime thing for example is noting new but is currently being sensationalised again but only due to the media not the results of good Policing.
